Maple 100

Fall and Vermont maple syrup go hand in hand. As the maple trees begin to change colors and turn Vermont’s landscapes into shades of red, orange, and yellow, our minds turn to the many ways we enjoy Vermont’s classic maple syrup. This fall, join the Vermont Agency of Agriculture to celebrate the Maple 100, in partnership with Vermont Tourism, to discover hundreds of maple activities, adventures, and maple-inspired products across the state. Find events, specialty products, and learning resources for the whole family to discover new ways to enjoy Vermont’s sweetest treat. 

We invite our members to join us in celebrating Maple 100 with a maple menu item and make it a fundraiser for Vermont Fresh Network this October!

What: Maple 100 is new this year! Organized by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets with the Vermont Department of Tourism and in partnership with folks across the state (like us), Maple 100 is a collaborative fall celebration of all things maple.  

Why: It aims to expand maple to the fall leaf peeping and tourist season: "there's more to maple." A collection of events and activities will bring awareness to the many ways to use and enjoy VT syrup.

When: This fall, primarily in October (with plans to do it again next year).

How: We're looking for culinary members to participate with a special maple menu item - anything food & drink. Think outside the box!  

Consider making it a mini-fundraiser for Vermont Fresh Network and donate a portion of the maple-inspired menu item proceeds toward our member programs and events.
