We are ringing in our 20th Anniversary Year. Join your fellow members for a lively conversation about our next 20 years!
Before lunch, we'll hear from a few experts on current topics relevant to all our members; water quality, labor and food waste. They will join us for lunch so that anyone may speak with them directly.
- Theresa Snow, Executive Director, Salvation Farms - will give a brief overview of Food Donation Options/Rules, Tax Deductions of Food Donations, and Food Waste/Composting
- Phelan Fretz, Executive Director, ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain - will give an overview of the health of Lake Champlain and current work being done to improve water quality across Vermont
- John Roberts, Small Farm Water Quality Specialist, Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets - will give a brief overview of the water quality work currently happening at the Agency of Ag.
- Representative from the Vermont Department of Labor - will give an overview of the current employment compensation rules and any potential changes in the near future.
After the official meeting we are also planning a tour of the Moran Plant and then a stop at Skinny Pancake for refreshments.

What Time: 11:30 a.m. till 3:00 p.m.
A Little Extra: Tour of the Moran Plant at 3:15 p.m., Refreshments at Skinny Pancake at 4:15 p.m.
Cost: $12 (includes lunch)
All this and you get to meet the members of the board, learn about new programming and voice your opinion about the work of the organization. Mark your calendar and bring your whole crew!
