Description

For every season there IS a reason to visit Shearer Hill Farm B&B. They want to be your country home away from home. Wake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, homemade scones, and baked apples. Enjoy the quiet setting on their small working farm, located on a quiet pristine country road. Wake to the moooos of their white-faced Herford cows. Their farm stay is located just five miles from the center of Wilmington, and has large rooms with private baths. They serve a delicious Vermont breakfast utilizing some of the delicious Vermont maple syrup that is made right on the farm. Visitors in March and April can learn about the maple sugaring process. Children are welcome, and in the summer the Marlboro Music Festival is just 5 miles away. There are also opportunities for swimming, horse back riding, biking and hiking nearby. In winter enjoy down hill skiing at Mt Snow Ski Resort, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling very close by. There is nothing as wonderful as renewing your spirit with a "farm stay."
