On the Menu - SoYo

To the delight of the neighborhood (kids and adults alike) Hans Manske and Sabrina Gibson opened SoYo frozen yogurt two years ago in the South End of Burlington. Frozen yogurt bars may be all the rage, but there is nothing conventional about SoYo, from their locally sourced dairy to their waste free shop--everything is compostable! The tangy frozen yogurt is made in small batches daily using Kingdom Creamery nonfat milk and the rotating flavor options range from tropical specialties like mango and coconut, to luxurious caramel using Fat Toad Farm cajeta, maple from real maple syrup (also from Kingdom Creamery), and rich chocolate flavored with cocoa sourced from neighboring chocolatier Lake Champlain Chocolates.

Fresh local berry toppings!

SoYo can easily stand alone as a delicious treat--topped with fresh, local, and organic strawberries from Last Resort Farm in Monkton, it’s sensational. Hans went looking for a consistent berry source and found a new partner in Last Resort. Last Resort will be able to supply the toppings bar with organic strawberries, blueberries and raspberries throughout the summer!

Hans will be serving up his yogurt at our Annual Forum Fundraising Dinner on August 3rd! Come join us for some the delicious summer fun.
