Contributions to the Network

Since 1995, the Vermont Fresh Network has helped Vermont farms & restaurants work together to provide the freshest local food. We're excited about the changes that we've seen in the Vermont food landscape over the past 15 years - the flourishing partnerships between farmers & chefs, the increased availability of local products, and the growing appreciation for food & agriculture.

However, these symbiotic relationships are not without challenges - the flooding in May, and most recently, Tropical Storm Irene affected many farmers & chefs. This holiday season, celebrations with friends & family over Vermont grown meals are an investment in the recovery efforts.

With your help, we can continue to strengthen the connections between farmers, chefs & community members. We can all be nourished by the fresh and healthy foods grown by our friends & neighbors. We can keep our agricultural landscape lush and bountiful.
